In our daily lives, we often do not understand what is happening in the spiritual realm. We lack awareness of the demonic activities that occur in the spirit and the kinds of portals—spiritual gateways—that allow demons to descend into our world. This is a time of sacrifices. Whenever you hear about a sacrifice, it means an altar is being raised. There can be no altar without a sacrifice—this is a foundational truth. When people make sacrifices, they are raising an altar.

If you are married and do not have a spiritual altar, your marriage is vulnerable to destruction. An altar is not just about prayer. While prayer is powerful, it operates in different dimensions. The first ministry of prayer is the ministry of revelation. Through prayer, you receive wisdom.

Wisdom and Covenant: The Example of Hannah

For example, consider Hannah in the Bible. Hannah’s barrenness was not demonic but ordained by God, who had closed her womb. She and her husband would go to Shiloh every year to sacrifice, raising an altar for their family. Yet, it wasn’t just prayer that unlocked her womb; it was wisdom.

When Hannah decided her situation could no longer remain the same, she went to the temple and prayed fervently. Even the priest Eli thought she was drunk. But Hannah explained her deep anguish and made a covenant with God, vowing to dedicate her child to Him if He opened her womb. Once she made that covenant, God answered her prayer, and she conceived Samuel, who was already chosen by God to be a prophet.

This story teaches us that prayer alone is not enough; wisdom and covenant play crucial roles.

Spiritual Warfare and Strategy

Many battles are spiritual and require divine strategy, not just effort. For example, King Jehoshaphat faced an overwhelming enemy army. Through prayer, he received a prophetic word that the battle was the Lord’s. He and his people only needed to position themselves and praise God, and their enemies destroyed themselves.

The problem in Christianity today is that many people pray without receiving direction or revelation. They pray, but they do not capture anything from the spirit. Prayer must yield wisdom and strategy; otherwise, it is incomplete.

The Role of Covenants in Spiritual Life

Altars are not just physical structures; they are spiritual systems. Sin, such as fornication and adultery, can open portals to the demonic realm, becoming altars of destruction. Satan ensures such sins are rampant because they provide access points for demons.

Raising godly altars is essential for protection and victory. For example, you can raise an altar for your marriage or children. Such altars can shield your loved ones from harm and dedicate them to God, much like Samuel was dedicated to God through Hannah’s covenant.

Breaking Evil Covenants and Raising Godly Altars

Witchcraft operates through agreements and sacrifices. For instance, when people visit witch doctors and give money, they unknowingly enter covenants with demonic spirits. These covenants empower altars that bring destruction.

God, however, is a covenant-keeping God. His strength lies in His covenants, such as the rainbow after the flood, which serves as a sign of His promise never to destroy the earth with water again.

Understanding the power of covenants allows believers to break free from negative patterns and strongholds.

Testimonies of Deliverance

For example, one of my spiritual daughters was highly educated but repeatedly failed to secure employment. She made a covenant with God, promising to give faithfully if He blessed her with a job. After much prayer and covenantal alignment, she received a breakthrough and has since maintained her position.

Life is Spiritual

Altars and covenants can work for good or evil. For instance, witchcraft can use altars to manipulate finances, relationships, and health. Some problems in life are not mere coincidences but are rooted in spiritual altars that swallow people’s resources and progress.

It is critical to pray against such influences and seek restoration through God. Pray for wisdom, clarity, and direction. Stand in agreement with God’s word, declaring His promises over your life and breaking every evil covenant and altar raised against you.

6. Health and Healing: Break every spell of sickness or affliction and declare divine health and healing over your body.
7. Judgment on Evil Altars: Pray for the dismantling of every evil altar and covenant working against you and for God’s judgment on witchcraft activities.
8. Divine Restoration: Pray for the restoration of everything the enemy has stolen—your health, finances, relationships, and peace.
