Prayer against Family Altars.

We are living in perilous and dangerous times where demonic technology has advanced to unprecedented levels. In this season, destinies and glories are being sacrificed, exchanged, and stolen on a massive scale. The spirit of darkness is working overtime, infiltrating families and relationships to cause destruction and chaos.

This is the era where we witness fathers sacrificing their families, wives betraying their children, and siblings turning against one another. The devil’s agenda is to dismantle the God-ordained structure of families, robbing them of their divine inheritance.

A lot of Christians are dying spiritually, emotionally, and even physically because they are playing and are unaware of what is happening in the spirit. Many are ignorant of the spiritual battles raging over their lives and destinies, leaving them vulnerable to the enemy’s schemes. In this season, they are not only killing people but also stealing destinies, stars, and virtues. Some people may find themselves unemployed next year, facing setbacks and stagnation, all because the enemy has tampered with their divine purpose.

The lack of discernment and spiritual alertness has caused believers to fall prey to the advanced tactics of the enemy. It is a time to rise in prayer, holiness, and purity to overcome these challenges and walk in victory.

“For the sceptre of wickedness shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous; that the righteous put not forth their hands unto iniquity.”

Let me teach you some profound truths about prayer that changes situations and brings transformation. The ministry of prayer goes much deeper than simply uttering words; it involves mysteries that only the Holy Spirit can reveal. Time and again, I have shared with people that prayer first changes you before it changes your situation. This is because an altar speaks. When you begin to interact regularly with your altar, it begins to teach you. By this, I mean that the Spirit of God becomes active in ministering divine secrets to you.

It is through these revelations that you gain the strength to strike down things that have oppressed your life and family for generations. This is why many people pray, yet things seem to get worse — they lack the revelation of what is fueling the problem. When you notice repeated patterns of bondage in a family, such as poverty, broken marriages, or sickness, it is evidence of a demonic government ruling over that family. These spirits don’t gain dominion overnight; their influence grows slowly until they establish a throne. Whoever occupies the throne rules.

In these days, while physical altars are rare, some families still uphold practices that strengthen these spirits, such as alcohol abuse, adultery, lies, and other forms of iniquity. These activities give demons legal access and empower their influence over the family.

You may be in Christ, but as long as you continue engaging with darkness, you cannot bring change to your family. You cannot dethrone demonic strongholds or establish the order of God in your family. Sin weakens you as an intercessor. An intercessor who will bring lasting change and break demonic strongholds must be one who stands in the presence of the Lord, walks in holiness, and aligns their life with God.

In 2025, the Lord will raise men and women who are consecrated and separated from the systems of this world. These individuals will carry the anointing to overthrow the ordinations of darkness that have colonized families. They will establish God’s divine order, leading to the manifestation of destinies that have been delayed or hindered.

Let this be a call to righteousness, holiness, and purity in the life of every believer. It is only through these virtues that we gain the spiritual power to wage effective warfare and walk in victory. An altar of prayer, fueled by holiness and purity, is the greatest weapon against the schemes of the enemy. Stand firm in the Lord, for He has called you to triumph and establish His kingdom on earth.
